This is a little booklet to help your K&1st students visually learn high, low, and melodic direction. It is intended to be incorporated in a High unit, but not as a whole lesson or unit in and of itself.
It is a fabulous way to introduce the staff to students at a young age and help them get familiarized at looking at and reading the staff.
Because this is visual high low practice for the kids, I have also included some supplemental ideas for singing and hearing high and low. However, that's not what you're paying for since some are not my ideas! :)
I also know that getting Kinders to write can take up the majority of our short alloted music time. Any writing is traceable. Reading and written work are kept to a miniumum. :)
This is also a great activity for a Sub Tub.
Comes in colored version and in B&W version.
