Need something the students can do to transition into math? Number of the Day allows students to select a number and then mentally manipulate it by its' place value.
* 1 more than my number
* 10 more than my number
*100 more than my number
Can be differentiated using less digits (starting with 2 digit numbers) or enriched using more digits and placing 9s in the tens, hundreds, or thousands spot.
