My Play Mechanic Checklist is a great way for your student or child to learn how to interact with other children or learn to role play on their own. Imaginary play is an essential part of a child's development. They will love using My Play Mechanic Checklist to pretend they are an Auto Repairman/Mechanic.
This form has realistic graphics and is organized and laid out in an easy to follow format. This sheet starts out with a spot for the mechanic's name and date of service. It also has boxes to write the car type or model, paint color, license plate number and number of car doors. There are areas to circle the number of tires, whether the headlights are broken/working or whether there are any oil leaks. The items listed on the checklist to check are the tire air pressure, battery, engine, windshield wipers and steering. Also included on this printable is an area to mark how empty or full the oil is and the gas tank levels. At the bottom of the sheet is a large area with an outline of a graphic of a vehicle where any repairs needed to be made can be circled and described. Finally, the sheet has a spot to write the cost for any repairs and an area to write whether the service has been completed!
This is specifically designed for play/pretend use only, please keep your child/student under supervision while they are using this checklist. This form was created FOR DRAMATIC PLAY ONLY and is to be used with a toy car/vehicle/automobile only!!!
This would be a great resource to use along with a lesson or unit plan on community helpers (learning the importance of a Mechanic/Auto Repairman's role), while studying or learning about transportation or just for fun!
I hope your little ones enjoy this checklist as much as mine do!
