Description
This activity is meant to get kids using more adjectives and describing words in their writing. I bring in pumpkins and gourds of different shapes and sizes. We usually read Spookly the Square Pumpkin, then look at our pumpkins. The children brainstorm words to describe their pumpkin and then use one of the words in a sentence.
