This is a fun way to introduce math to your students. I like to use this after we have gone to the pumpkin patch. The students are able to weigh and measure their pumpkins. We then follow up with a group discussion about who has the biggest and smallest pumpkins. It is a lot of fun and the students are very engaged in the activity. It is a great way to start Halloween in the classroom!
For further fine motor skills, I like to have the students also color their own pumpkin, as well as the other pumpkin clip art on the paper.
