Product Description
This speech therapy printable includes a Build-a-mouth craft where students identify and learn the parts of the mouth they use for their individual speech target.
Using marshmallows for teeth, the student assembles the mouth (oral cavity, tongue/uvula/throat and teeth).

Print the pattern of the oral cavity on any color paper. Pattern includes labels for where to glue each tooth and the tongue.

3 different tongue patterns included for your convenience.
• Pattern 1: Blank tongue with no uvula/throat and no parts of the tongue labeled.
• Pattern 2: Tongue with uvula/throat with no parts of the tongue labeled (my
favorite pattern--you can label the tongue with the student during speech)
• Pattern 3: Tongue with uvula/throat and all parts labeled (tip, sides, blade, back
and uvula)

Printable labels are also included for a description of tongue placement:(Glue these descriptions under the tongue for a quick refresher for the student's parents)

• Dipthongs--all

Also included is a Roll-a-tooth game where students can color, use paint daubers or place marshmallows over the number tooth that is rolled until a winner is determined. Review the anatomy of the mouth or quiz them on tongue placement between each turn.

Last, you will receive a printable mouth diagram that students can label as review. (Great to use when returning from Winter, Summer or Spring break!)

This printable material goes well with -Anatomy of the mouth for speech production.
In fact, I use them simultaneously to teach the mechanics of articulation.
