This project is a welcome back project, it is self guided to allow the student to take ownership as well as share stories of summertime. This project works well as a starting point for the student portfolio, focal point, composition, variety and shading can be discussed. The use of thumbnail sketches is a sumative assessment as well as a classroom management tool. This can be labeled for bilingual integration. This project is 2 projects in one, that includes a name design project that will help the teacher learn the students name while teaching design.
