This is a work station to help kids build sentences. There are 159 word cards, plus blank cards to fill in with your student's names. The word cards are color-coded so the students have to follow the color pattern to build the sentence. Then they have to record the sentences they created. The 2nd record sheet also has a place for the kids to rearrange their sentence. (Ex. The brown dog ate the yummy food...The yummy food was eaten by the brown dog.) This is a second grade common core standard.
To make the center, just print the cards (there are blank ones to add their names if you want), cut them out, glue them to their color construction paper (the colored dot on the sheet tells you which color), laminate them and cut them out.
Your kids will love this fun, colorful center :)
