Especially helpful for back to school, this activity is a fun way to help students get to know each other. Students will create a superhero logo that represents one of their strengths or something that they like about themselves.
Ask students what they know about superheroes. Ask what superpowers different superheroes might have. Have them think about skills and abilities that a real person might have that could make them special. This might include things like being good at sports, taking care of animals, singing, dancing, being friendly, and so on.Tell them that everyone has something that makes them special or a superheroto others. Tell them to think of a special talent that they have. It might be from the list or one they think of on their own.
Students may choose from eight different superhero logo shapes upon which they create their own design.
These would be great to hang around the room or on a superhero-themed bulletin board.
