Product Description
This is a dialogue activity after students have a foundation of town and businesses vocabulary, gustar + infinitive verbs and is designed to practice the functions of inviting and making plans for an outing in the local town or city. The dialogue and activities can be modified for teacher-guided, individual, group or whole class activities.

The dialogue integrates multiple topics; Places, activities likes, needs, wants plus verb infinitives, time and day vocabulary. These interactive conversations will be a big hit with your classes because the students have flexibility to leave the dialogue as written or they can personalize the conversation by substituting an underlined word for their choice of vocabulary. Integrated topic dialogues make a dynamic tool for end of the unit or end of the year reviews for any language level.

• An interactive bilingual dialogue with open-ended expressions and vocabulary (Over 15 lines of interactive communication per person)
• Word bank of 10 places and infinitive verbs

The dialogue is written at a beginning level using short questions and responses with expressions that are mostly reactive in nature but, allow the student to feel as if they are in a real conversation using Spanish 1 vocabulary. (Compares to Novice Level on the Foreign Language proficiency scale). The students also will be exposed to several more advanced expressions which provide challenge above the level.

The “My Town and Places To Go” dialogue can be used as a stand-alone activity. If you would like additional reference tools you may prefer to supplement with "Town and Places Vocabulary" as this thematic reference is designed to provide a foundation for the majority of common vocabulary that students will encounter throughout the course of any related unit.
