Weather Chart: keeping a record of weather patterns during trip.
Animals I Saw on My Trip: sorting classes of animals.
Tell Me A Story:has child asking about what was life like when an adult they meet on the trip was a kid themselves.
Where Are We?: Keeping a log of the towns and cities, ordering
Then and Now: compares life of yesteryear with today.
Tally Ho! Away We Go: two license plate games involving counting
License Plate Math: A chance to practice mentally adding or subtracting 10 from a two digit number.
Journal Entry Pages: journaling about important events the child experienced.
In addition, there are directions for teachers to assemble the packet, and directions and a letter for parents to help them complete the journal with their children.
