12 page “My Turkey” booklet
5 pages of feathers to be colored in (60 feathers in total—45 of which to color to go with the story); I color one extra of
each color so students have to count to get the number and not just pick all of them.
1 “Dress Me In Feathers” page
How I store my feathers page
1. Print out booklet for your students.
2. Have crayons for your students.
3. Print out on card stock and laminate feathers….and store in a baggie or on a laminated folder as described on last page.
4. Print on card stock and laminate the “Dress Me in Feathers” page and put Velcro on the circles…that is where your
students will put the feathers if you are guiding them with visual prompts.
How to use: I use the “Dress Me in Feathers” page the feathers with my students that need a visual prompt.
ex. The page “I have one red father.” (Student will find one red feather and then Velcro it to the “Dress Me in Feathers”
page---then they will color/match the turkey from their book by coloring one feather red.
