This emergent reader includes 3 different, easy-prepped versions. Version 1 includes full sentences prompting students on how to color the feathers ("The turkey has 1 yellow feather"). The second version includes a blank spot for the student to write in the numbers (either as prompted by the teacher or decided on their own), and the third includes a blank spot in the sentence for both the number and colors. Each version includes an ending page allowing the students to decorate the turkey as they see fit.

This is perfect for pre-k, kindergarten, or EL. It practices many important skills including reading, writing, colors, and numbers. The different versions make it easy for teachers to differentiate and the set up makes it easy for teachers to print, staple, and cut! This resource is great for students to follow prompts or use their own choices within a guided activity. The font used is easy to read with correct letter formation making it easy to read for young students!

Great for fall or Thanksgiving!
