Description

Task Cards Mysteries - Digital Resource for Google Slides – Each card presents a reading passage related to the theme of "mysteries." Some are fiction, and some are non-fiction.

This resource includes the digital version with a total of six slides (one card per slide) plus the printable version, which has two cards per page for a total of ten cards.

Here is what is included in the digital version:

Making Inferences - 1 Card

Identifying the Sequence - 1 Card

Non-Fiction – 1 Card

Using Context Clues – 2 Card

Editing – 1 Card

The printable version includes:
Making Inferences - 2 Card

Identifying the Sequence - 2 Card

Non-Fiction – 2 Card

Using Context Clues – 2 Card

Editing – 2 Card

This Google Slides version of the task cards is ready for student use with text boxes or movable pieces already in place for student responses.

The text in this resource is not editable.

The reading passages were written with middle-grade kids in mind. The assignments that go along with the reading passages consist of either several comprehension questions or another comprehension or editing activity.

These cards support the ELA standards for reading literature and informational test, especially those that relate to comprehension of story elements, making inferences, and using text-based information.

These task cards are designed specifically for middle-grade kids with more content per card than many task cards – perfect for older kids who can handle more than one quick question per card.

For an Easel version, see Task Card Mysteries.

For full-size task card sets, check out some of these ideas (or check them all out in the Task Cards section of this store). Each of the task card sets is available with either the Easel or the Google slides digital version.
