Product Description
Differentiating between observations and inferences is an important skill for any young scientist. This activity uses the book The Mysteries of Harris Burdick to prompt students to make inferences about these mysterious pictures based on what they can observe and then write a report about what they were able to infer. This activity also helps students to differentiate between qualitative and quantitative data. It is a great activity for the beginning of the year as students begin experimenting and collecting data or during the year to help them brush up on their skills.
