Mystery Geometry is an activity for pairs of students to review naming, drawing, finding perimeter and finding area of various quadrilaterals and triangles. It was created for a 7th grade class.
A student takes a card and reads the figure’s description to their partner. The partner then tries to draw the figure, name the figure, and answer the other questions on the card. The first student has the answers on his card and should be checking the work of his partner. After this the other student draws a different card and their roles are reversed.
