Students draw the simple sections in the appropriate space to reassemble the scrambled image.Download the preview for a free sample of one of my Mystery Grid Drawing products.
We all need engaging and beneficial activities that students can work on individually.
As a right-brained drawing technique, mystery grids are particularly suited to addressing left-mode issues. The original image is intentionally scrambled to deny the left-brain access and facilitate a shift to a more beneficial mode of mental processing.
Not an art teacher? This activity isn't just for art class. The technique is easily discernable to the point of teaching itself. Even non-english speaking students can get in on the act.
My Mystery Grids are also available in bundles!
If you'd like to introduce grid drawing as a new concept to your students, you may find my introductory series beneficial.
