Mystery Letters Phonics Game - The Bundle
Mystery Letters is a paperless, interactive phonics game for primary aged-students.
Mystery Letters is a whiteboard game for students to help students grow as readers and writers by writing the missing letters in a word. Students have to look at the picture and the word and write the missing letter or letters. Then, they check their work on the next slide. Simple!
This is a NO-PREP, download and play game. It is 100% NO PREP! You need Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 and later to play. All you need is a whiteboard and dry erase marker and a napkin or towel to wipe the board clean!
This can be used in place of worksheets for morning work, for word work during small group instruction, literacy centers or a whole group review game after teaching a specific phonics skill.
The game includes 900+ slides. There are no winners or losers, just fast-paced learning!
This game is designed to be projected onto your SMARTBoard, Promethean or any Interactive Whiteboard or desktop computer (MAC or PC) or tablet or mobile device.
You can also put this game on your computers for students to play independently. It’s just that simple and easy to do!
This game was designed using Microsoft Office’s PowerPoint so it will run on any PC or Mac computer that contains this program. All you have to do is download the presentation and you are all ready to go!
How to play
Give each student whiteboard and a dry erase marker. Run the presentation. Tell students to look at the picture and write the beginning sound. When everyone is done writing their answer, click on the board and the answer is revealed. Students erase their board and complete the next slide! Simple!
