Make math and research fun with this Math Mystery activity!
Students will first research the dates of various events (e.g. the year the Eiffel Tower was completed). Then they will use those numbers to complete an equation that will help them solve the math mystery question!
This activity helps students develop their basic operations skills (adding and subtracting multi-digit numbers), as well as their research and skimming skills.
Great to use for partner-work, substitute work, or homework!
