This packet includes a lesson plan/description of the Mystery Object Activity as well as a worksheet that guides discussion and description of the object in question. I use this activity for older and/or literate students whose goals target "wh" questions, syntax, making inferences, and/or utterance expansion. This activity will require addition materials but all necessary items should be found around the house (i.e.; no additional purchase is needed). You can allow multiple students to view a mystery object at one time but be sure to create a divider (e.g.; a book/folder) to prevent others from peaking. This is great for students who hate to write. Let creativity take over!
