Mystery picture graphs are a great way to make graphing coordinate pairs (or ordered pairs) fun! Students respond to them best when the mystery picture is something relevant to them. The download file includes the printable list of coordinate pairs for each picture with directions and an example of each finished product. It does not include a coordinate plane. I recommend having students make their own coordinate plane on graph paper (this is great practice, and you can download printable graph paper for free from www.printablepaper.com) or using a free printable coordinate plane.
In my experience, it is best NOT to print a coordinate plane on the back of the list of coordinate pairs, as students have difficulty flipping back and forth and remembering the pairs correctly. If you are seeking to save paper, I recommend printing the directions and coordinate pair sheet two to a page instead.
