Mystery Pictures – Winter Edition are designed to help students learn how to count in numerical order and understand place value.
For beginning students: I print out a mystery picture in color and the corresponding black & white chart. I cut apart the color picture and have students glue it onto the black and white chart. This is a great way to have students still learn the 100 chart, but they may have difficulty with fine motor skills and being able to use the color key.
There are 8 mystery pictures plus a blank 100 chart to use with the pictures. Each mystery pictures has its own code page and filled in 100 chart.
Tasks can be for individual or small group work.
