After completing my "Mystery Central America" together in class, this is a followup project that can be assigned so students can "show what they know" about using the verb estar, locations, days of the week, and expressions of frequency. It typically takes students 3 days to write about 10 clues for their mystery, and 2 days to create their visual and present to the class. This can be assigned as an individual or group assignment but works best as an individual assignment if you want to use the end product as a part of your students' proficiency portfolios.
