Each year I have parent volunteers come to visit the classroom and read, do art projects, and/or bring treats to the class. I call it Mystery Reader because I do not tell any of the students who our Mystery Reader, so that on Friday the anticipation is high and they are surprised when the parent walks in. The parent who has volunteered will send me clues at the beginning of the week. The clues go from vague to more detailed as I read them each day. It is so exciting to see the students try to guess who the mystery reader is, especially the student that the mystery reader belongs too!
