This is a thoughtfully designed guide for the PBS Mystery of Matter video series.
The guide has been designed to be easy for students to follow and pull out significant ideas, complete with Chronology, Appropriate Section Headings, Direct Quotations, and Emphasis on Main Ideas.
It has also been designed for ease of use by instructors or substitutes: Blank lines when appropriate make it easy to check/grade, a reasonably expected time slot allows time for attendance and/or loading video or partaking in discussion of key points, and it is designed to stop at an appropriate point in the video for proper continuity when resuming in the future.
WHAT WILL I GET?
You will get a printable (and editable) Word document that is appropriate for PBS Mystery of Matter Part 1: Out of Thin Air, minutes 00:00 to 37:00.
WHAT DO I NEED?
The Guide is ready for printing as is. Because of the focus on main ideas and minimal use of trivial details, an answer key is easy for you to generate on your own upon a single viewing of the video to be played.
You are responsible for acquisition of the actual video to be played. :)
