This chart goes with the Miwok Myths and Legends, however it is possible to find alternative Myths to explain the listed phenomena. Also works well as an anchor chart. It is not intended to be a deep science lesson and the teacher should jot down any myths, superstitions, religious beliefs, or stories that kids already know prior to sharing Miwok myths.
