Product Description

This Google Slides ™  lesson plan is designed to be a part of a larger unit, as the culminating project for a unit connecting mythology with modern pop culture. I have included Guided Notes for students on the characteristics of myths, a myth comparison chart, and a project rubric. Simply pair off your scholars, guide them through the notes, provide them with the grading rubric, and let the fun begin!

Objectives: Compare and contrast mythologies from different cultures, and connect the myth to pop culture through movies.

Teacher Prep Time: Print rubrics, student guided notes, and comparison tables, plus 1 hour to familiarize with the PowerPoint!

Lesson Duration: 55 minutes lesson leading to 3 - 5 days as in-class project.
