PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Narrative writing is one of the three required types under the Common Core State Standards. It is also a favorite for most students because they get to create a story with characters, plot, and action and show their creativity.

This narrative is themed around St. Patrick's Day in which they create a plot based on characters trying to trap a tricky leprechaun for a certain reason.

I have included a "writing plan" page, reference pages with words and phrases they can use in their story, as well as a list of some Irish names for characters. Sentence stems (that can be copied and laminated for use with "writing buddies") for revising is included and a final grading rubric too.
