Campaign, Sherman’s March to the Sea, and Appomattox Court House.
d. Describe the roles of Abraham Lincoln, Robert E. Lee, Ulysses S. Grant, Jefferson Davis,Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson, and William T. Sherman.
e. Describe the effects of war on the North and South.
The following Powerpoint is used as a complete teaching unit plan. This is a comprehensive unit with 65 slides that took me over 8 hours to complete. This is what I use in my class and has been very successful. There are many interactive sites, standard-based information, and links to resources/videos. This can take 2-3 weeks to complete if you wanted it; lots of information and resources! You can use on the IWB or upload it to GoogleClassroom and let students view on their laptops with you as a class or individually explore the many interactives.
