This product provides supplemental resources that address concepts for Next Generation Science Standard 5-EES1-2 Earth’s Place in the Universe: Represent data in graphical displays to reveal patterns of daily changes in length and direction of shadows, day and night, and the seasonal appearance of some stars in the night sky.
It includes several activities about why shadows change length, shape, and direction and why we see different constellations during different seasons.
The product is limited to the standard upon which it focuses with some discussion of the Earth's rotation and revolution around the sun.
