This lesson gives students an engaging and hands-on opportunity to engineer their own erosion prevention method. Use this lesson to take the concept of weathering and erosion and apply a real world problem and solution to it. This lesson follows the Engineering Design Process of Brainstorm, Plan, Build and Improve and is aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards.
*This challenge should be conducted after the students have learned about Weathering and Erosion.
