In this computer-based lesson, students research what characteristics all living things share and record information using online resources. They are instructed to find 3 credible websites and record what sources they used. Conclusion questions are provided for students to reflect on what they learned. This lesson addresses the following NGSS Performance Expectation:

MS-LS1-1. Conduct an investigation to provide evidence that living things are made of cells; either one cell or many different numbers and types of cells.
