Product Description
Want your students to excited about science? What could be more thrilling than bungee jumping? In this lab, students will use the scientific method to conduct an experiment about how the number of rubber bands affects the drop distance. My students love this lab, especially day 3 where we drop Barbie from the balcony in a competition to see who can get the closest to the floor without harming Barbie. Students will have the chose to create a website or Google Doc with their lab partners in order to share their findings. This is a cross-curricular activity we do with our math department. Our math teachers analyze the data and create a line of best in order to estimate the correct number of rubber bands to use for our balcony drop. This is a Microsoft Word document so you can edit and tailor for your specific needs.
