Students will create graphs that are tied to factual current groundbreaking research by Ornithologists, Oceanographers, Meteorologists, Marine Ecologists and Fishery Biologists. The student will become a "specialist" and read about the current state of the organisms or environmental climate and then graph the data. Students will then come back to a table with one "specialist" per table and share out their data. Students will construct trends and patterns with declines and increases in various areas over years.
