*NOTE* The first page of the preview file includes detailed instructions about how teachers and students can use these templates.
Make skills practice fun! Students answer questions related to a topic of your choice, then use their answers to complete a Sudoku board. This listing includes NINE different templates, all editable .docx files. (A single template is available at the link below.)
With each of these templates, you can create your own Sudoku practice activity for students. First, you need to write nine questions ("clues") with answers 1 through 9. Then write your questions on one of the templates--two versions are provided for each file: one for short clues (e.g., equations), and another for longer clues (e.g., word problems). The answer key, provided, will let you know which clue A-I should have which answer 1-9.
Students answer your nine questions, then they put the answers in designated spots on the Sudoku board. When this is complete, they can finish the rest of the Sudoku game. Note that students who don't know the rules of Sudoku (or choose not to play) will still get the same skills practice as those who do finish the rest of the game.
