Thank you so much for checking out my product! I worked extra hard on this, and I’m very excited for you to use it! There are 15 Valentine’s Day themed pages that each contain 12 directions for your students to follow. The pages start off with 1-step directions with 1 attribute and go all they way up to 1-step direction with 4 attributes. You can simply read the directions to your student and have them follow directions, or you can send it home for your student’s parents to practice with their child. I suggest also printing out a copy for yourself while doing the activity and use it as a “barrier game.” This means that you both have a copy of the paper and you do the directions with the child with a barrier in the middle. The barrier will ensure that your student is not able to see what you are doing, and they need to follow the directions on their own. When you are both done with a step, you show your picture to each other and see if you both followed the direction correctly. I have also included some blank copies of each page. With these pages you can instruct your student to tell you the directions. This will increase their expressive language skills in labeling, spatial concepts, colors, shapes, etc. I hope you enjoy these activities as much as I do!
