Description
Teach figurative language through multiple meaning words with this NO PRINT, highly interactive, iPAD-friendly activity. Although this NO PRINT product was created with a virtual classroom in mind, it will save paper, ink, and time spent prepping in your face-to-face classrooms as well.
Using visual representations of different definitions for each word, will provide increased transparency for the subtle semantic differences in meanings! These multiple meaning words are divided into two sets: Level 1 is appropriate for Pre-K through 1st and Level 2 is appropriate for 1st through 3rd depending on the student's familiarity with the type of activity and vocabulary understanding. The difference in levels was determined by grade level word lists as well as transparency of semantic differences in meanings. TEACH definitions for 30 by providing pictured definitions. Then, identify a second definition from a choice of three defintions where two are close foils. Differentiate by COMPLETING SENTENCES with the appropriate definition of an underlined multiple meaning word (includes original pictures associated with definition).

The additional arrow allows for easy movement through stimuli if not all stimuli are completed within one set time frame.
