My students come into math class, open their math journals, and begin their warm up right away! We spend about 10-15 minutes total on our warm up before we dive our daily lesson.
Each day consist of 3 - 5 problems. Typically a word problem is the first problem, followed by quick facts or computation questions.
This set includes daily practice for 45 days of instruction (or 1 Quarter).
Spiraled practice includes telling time, multiplication facts, addition to 500, subtraction from numbers up to 300, reading bar graphs, solving real world problems with all four operations, arrays, fractions, money, and measurement.
