✺Teacher instructions for both Google Slides and Interpretive Note-Taking.
✺Two page PDF for individual students. There are 18 prompts and then a listing of Rhetorical devices and Literary terms.
✺One page PDF for group work. There are 18 questions that help students discuss their findings after their assignment is complete.
✺A Google Slides file for both of the above - one for individuals and one for groups - these files also contain one editable slide where students record their findings.
Instructions on how to use Google Slides and the handouts.
✺(SOME NEW STUDENT EXAMPLES): NEW Student examples - I use student examples from previous semesters to help my class understand my expectations. There are 19 included - my examples are from Genesis One, Two, and Three, and Alexander Pope’s “Eloisa to Abelard.” I used the poem for the first time this year and the results were outstanding. My students worked on The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as well as the poem. I teach Genesis as it ties into several of my course themes - one of them is curiosity.
