In this package you will find:
--- 54 Number Facts Cards (Including 2 CHANCE CARDS)
--- 10 Bingo Boards
--- CHEAT SHEET (as in PREVIEW)
--- Directions for play
You will need to provide 9 buttons or counters for players to cover their numbers. If you are using teams, share the counters between the members of the team to increase interaction.
A lot of my intervention kids need more time to master halving facts. This game of BINGO just adds another dimension to number facts mastery for them to consolidate and gain fluency.
My work in intervention starts and/or ends with games, so I need the variety to cater for different levels. This version is designed for the intervention students that are a bit older. The addition of HALF of 100 is specifically designed for them. This fact comes in very handy when you are halving a dollar. The CHANCE CARDS add a fun element and you should see the player's eyes light up when they turn it over. They don't realise that having to think up a number fact that corresponds to an answer on their Bingo Board is a higher level skill. The game element provides the motivation to work it out.
I have added the CHEAT SHEET as I mix ability groups sometimes and the less able players need this level of support. You provide a multi-sensory experience when they see the fact with the answer at the same time as they are hearing it and moving their hand to cover a number. I recommend leaving the CHEAT SHEET out for as long as they need it.
I have added a pumpkin logo to this set for organisational reasons. I have always had lots of hands-on equipment in my classrooms. You need a good storage system and the logos help you keep the bingo sets together. No chance of cards getting mixed up if you have more than one set on the go.
You can find lots of games like this in my store.
