Product Description
These file folder puzzles work wonderfully for math stations, small group lessons, and quick interventions. Set up is easy and organizing them is such a breeze that you’ll be pulling them out all the time! My favorite thing about these puzzles is that they make it simple to individualize and differentiate for different levels of readiness.

This pack includes 6 unique puzzles each requiring students to solve 12 problems.
Black and white and full color versions are included as well as answer keys.

The puzzles include:
-3 Place Value Puzzles with expanded form problems (40+3), pictorial base ten block problems, and worded base ten problems (8 tens and 2 ones).
-3 Counting Forward and Backward Puzzles with incomplete number patterns (37 39 41 __) and more and less problems (3 more than 72).

Play:
1. Get a file and take the puzzle pieces out of the bag.
2. Solve each problem box. Mark the answer with the correct puzzle piece.
3. Check your answers by making sure the picture is correct.

Set Up:
Print either the color or black and white file covers and puzzle pictures. You will also want to print the puzzle sheets and answer sheets which are only black and white. Glue a cover to the front of each file. On the inside, glue the problems sheet (I like to trim the edges before gluing it down). Then, I send the whole file through the laminator to keep it nice and neat. I also laminate the puzzle cards and cut them out. I write the puzzle letter on the back of each puzzle piece to keep them organized (For example ”A” on the back of every piece from puzzle A). I put puzzle pieces into a Ziploc bag and set this into the file.
