This project can easily supplement the NYCDOE Passport to Social Studies Mexico Case Study Unit.
It is a student led research based project, which allows students to choose roles in which they learn about a specific aspect of Mexico. Students get to be a geographer, historian, cultural expert, plant/animal expert, etc.
Each role contains various research based questions, that students have used to conduct their research. There is a checklist attached at the end of the project.
Students have really enjoyed this project!
