New York State Alternate Assessment - Grade 4 Science AGLI 1 (41125) and AGLI 2 (42212). Along with using these as my formal NYSAA assessment tasks, I also used them as a "pre" and "post" assessment for my entire unit on plants.
AGLI 1 assesses students ability to sequence seed germination. We did this in the classroom using grass seed and lima beans. (1) Get seeds (2) Plant in Soil (3) Give sun and water (4) Seedling
AGLI 2 assesses students ability to label the parts of a plant. We practiced this using videos and posters in the classroom. (1) Flower (2) Roots (3) Stem (4) Leaf
I have left a "NOTE:" section at the top of every page where you can write in what accommodations you gave the student. For example, "name was written hand over hand" or "directions and questions read aloud".
