Packet Updated: July 2018: With summer month options.
As long as my students were learning to write and recognize their names, I decided to make practicing especially fun, with these activities.
Since some of them came in with just a scribble, I also wanted to show their progress and how much they had improved by the end of the year.
I also needed a simple assessment tool for the beginning of the year, to see where the kiddos were at, that was also fun for them.
With these things in mind, I designed several monthly keepsake booklets specifically for name writing practice.
There are 3 options for you to choose from, which are shown in the .
Documenting progress in this way, not only makes for an extra special keepsake, but is great to share during conferences.
I’ve also added quite a few extra pages to work on later in the year, that involve a variety of math skills.
Besides the keepsake booklets, there are also worksheets, apple craftivities that make a sweet bulletin board (Seuss's "Apples Up On Top", as well as a "Spill & Spell" name game).
Everything has been “kid-tested” with super success.
I’m Diane from Teach With Me, hoping that your kiddos enjoy these activities as much as mine do.
