This glyph is a great activity to use in the classroom or in a speech language group. This glyph targets a variety of concepts and skills (e.g. stripes, polkadots, younger/older, not, both, and/or, pronoun usage, answering questions). While completing the glyph, or after completion, ask the students a variety of questions to interpret and summarize information about other students by comparing and contrasting. Ask questions about a completed, unknown student's glyph as well by showing them one letter at a time (e.g. "What does the first letter tell us about this person?"). This is also great for a bulletin board display.
