Naming specific parts of items can be a challenge for many children. In this simple game (for 1 or more players) children learn to name and even describe the parts of common objects (ie, tree, hand, book, food store, clock). It can be adapted for competitive or non-competitive rules. Perfect practice for the student with word retrieval difficulty or just to use as a general vocabulary builder. Simple to play and rules can be adapted to fit the time you have available.
All the parts you need are included in this board game set, including star shaped tokens to cut apart to use as points (optional). Even a list of possible answers is included for those days when YOU can’t think straight
The game board and rules can be laminated and attached to a colorful file folder for easy storage. The tokens can also be laminated (before cutting is best) and placed in an envelope in the same file. File folder games are an inexpensive and convenient educational or therapeutic tool for itinerant specialists on the go because they are lightweight and easy to transport.
