This is a sample of a one day review game that involves students hearing clues and trying to figure out the Era of American History. These clues are mostly coming from the American Pageant textbook content and they're not easy. Students in my class take turns up and down the rows being given a clue and if they answer incorrectly the next student gets another clue until someone guesses the Era. I then quickly review the significance of each clue for further review. The students acquire points by correctly answering the Era with the fewest clues. For instance, if student A guesses correctly with one clue they receive 5 pts, If student B gets it on 2 clues = 4pts and so on. You can of course use this however you wish, but they are tough clues... FYI. Also, you can put them into groups of 2 or 3 and keep more people engaged. Enjoy
