Directions: Play this game like Family Feud. Divide class into two teams, one player from each team is asked a question, the first to ring a buzzer or bell (I use a "bell hop bell" $5 from Office Depot) gets to answer, if they get it correct they get a point if not the other team gets a chance to answer, then switch players. Continue until all questions are answered.
The teacher can be the host or assign a student - the answers are on the cards.
32 cards are included - copy double sided with the Name that Family logo (also included). You can also delete the answers and make them flash cards for students to complete.
Questions include periodic table trends, valence electrons, family characteristics, groups, periods etc.
This activity is a review after students have completed Cornell Note outlines #32- #38 - you can find these at Sandy's Science Stuff.
I also use Jeopardy 2 Matter (Acids, Bases, Mixtures, Solutions) Changes, Periodic Table as a whole class review.
