A classroom FAVORITE! My students can't wait for this activity! We do it as a warm-up during the weeks we work on fractions, and ask to do it over and over again!
This is a powerpoint presentation of fractions with the denominators 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8. There are seven different moves for students to do between fraction sets. There are seven different groups of problems, with four problems in each set. There are two bonus questions randomly placed.
To play: There is an intro slide for each move to show the students what to do. Next, the screen moves to a picture of a fraction. Students try to name the fraction before it is revealed. This happens four times and then they have a 10 second workout before the next fact is shown. There are two bonus questions randomly placed for students to identify numerators and denominators.
