This set includes templates for boys and girls. As more diverse images become available, this set will be added to.

Right click, duplicate to make as many as you need, then insert names. You can use

your own dotted font for tracing letter tiles before cutting! I recommend this.

Students cut the tiles off the bottom and arrange to spell their name above the picture. They should be encouraged to draw a self portrait too, then label the portrait with their name.

I make a set for each child for multiple opportunities to practice. Repetition is very important in name recognition, and this is an activity you will go back to year after year to help your young students get off to a good start! It is a great way to show progress through the year too!
